Attractions and Dining along Wilshire
Wilshire Boulevard is one of the major roads running east and west through the city from Grand Avenue in downtown L.A. to Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica. It connects Beverly Hills with five of the city's major business districts. Surrounded by the concrete jungle of Los Angeles are some of the best restaurants, including the eclectic Vietnamese eatery, Red Medicine, the well-known hibachi grill, Benihana and the laid-back Hill Bar & Grill. Grab a java at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where you can people-watch the morning away.
Our historic Los Angeles hotel, Hotel Normandie, is located within the Wilshire District. Fox and MGM's studios are here, in addition to a number of high-rise residential towers, Koreatown and museums. In fact, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the largest museum in the western United States is found in the Miracle Mile portion of Wilshire, along with other great museums. Interested in exploring LA's thriving concert scene? You'll find us just moments from some of Los Angeles' most iconic music venues, including Hollywood Bowl, The Greek Theatre, The Wiltern and more.
